Another new toy

I couldn't stop at just one, so I got the 2006 Ford Mustang GT XMODS too. I am setting up the H2 for off-roading and I will set up the Mustang for racing. I used the body kit to make the Mustang resemble the 2005 Ford Mustang GT Coupe by H&R Special Springs as seen here. Below is a before picture with the body stripped of all add-ons and a couple of after pictures with the body parts to look like the H&R Special Springs Mustang.



Now I need to concentrate on the chassis upgrades for both the H2 (4WD, Stage 2 motor, bearings) and the Mustang (AWD, Stage 2 Motor, bearings).

My new toy

Here are some pictures of my new toy - it is an XMODS Hummer H2. XMODS are 1/28th scale RC cars with various modifications available to customize or "trick out". They are available at Radio Shack - in store or online. Check out xmodsrc.com Last Friday, I was at a friend's house who had just got the 1967 Pontiac Firebird. I checked them out and decided to get a truck.




It absolutely flies. . .I rolled it several times in the driveway by cranking the wheel just a little too hard on the sidewalk, it hit the grass, caught air, and rolled several times on the driveway. Ouch!! I ran over to check it out and couldn't find a single scratch on it.
